We were successful this past year in achieving the goals set forth by the HOA board. Thank you to all who have contributed, both financially and otherwise. These contributions are vital to the maintenance and improvement of our neighborhood.
One of the boards main goals this past year was budgeting for repairing and resurfacing the pool. The pool is old and this service is past due. In addition, a major leak was detected in the pool at the end of the season. The board is pleased to announce that the pool is being repaired and remodeled for the 2011 pool season. This will include repairing all leaks, replacing old pumps and plumbing, completely resurfacing the pool and bringing the pool up to code with proper dept markers etc. These repairs and upgrades will enhance the neighborhood tremendously and increase all of our property values.
The next neighborhood HOA meeting will take place on Oct. 21st, 7 pm at Tim Kinzel s home at 6395 Flat Rock Rd. Elections for 2011 will take place at this meeting. The HOA board consist of a President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, 2 VP of Pool Operations and up to four Members at Large. The board has worked hard on your behalf, but more still needs to be done. Please consider volunteering your time to help your neighborhood and plan on attending this important meeting.
Finally, in an effort to conserve time and money, the newsletters will no longer be distributed via the mail but will instead be available on the Ivy Springs website at Ivyspringshoa.com as well as by email. Check the website for updates on the pool repairs and other important information. You can contact the board through the website to be included on the email list.
